A Few Updates!

A little late but, BUSINESS INSIDER WROTE A STORY ON ME! I got to share how I was fed up at my job one day and never came back, stopped taking pre-PA courses, and became a line cook. Read the article here.

March is Women’s History Month and I’ve collaborated with The Congregation Detroit to host a pop-up event with women-owned brands. The event is free to all yet designed with all identifying women in mind. You don’t want to miss out because we’re gifting all guests professional headshots! Detroit Flower Co will also be attending with their Make-Your-Own-Bouquet station. See you soon!

Good Soup Detroit will be back at Two Birds on March 18th for another soup pop-up! Stop by and try my artisan soup menu and homemade bread, and grab a drink at the bar.

This spring, I’m looking forward to stepping into more creative projects, accepting baking commissions, and hosting virtual & in-person cooking parties. Paid subscriptions and commissions help creators like myself share recipes, work on new menus for events and pop-ups, and most importantly pay the bills LOL. With that being said, having an event and would like customized cookies for guests? A cookie bar at a wedding? Need intimate catering for a dinner party? Having a picnic? Would like to order a cake? Hire your girl! Emails can be sent to elle@homegirlkitchen.com
